I’m not sure how Kinja handles time. I think I recall seeing replies that were stamped with an earlier time than the comment they were replying to. As far as I know, only original posts can have their timestamp altered, not replies. Since comments come from all over the world, I just assumed it matched the commenter’s local time.

But local time or not, I don’t know why I’m seeing your post now. A timestamp of 10:30pm should make it a scheduled post and not be visible on the front page for the next half-hour.

It shows up because I uploaded it to Imgur and then pasted the link here. I can’t upload anything from my computer, or even my phone. Can you?

And when I first composed the post at around 9:20 ET, the timer said 10:20. I wanted to schedule it for 9:30 because I have some weird self-proclaimed OCD and the only way it seemed to work was to type in 10:30. Now it’s like stickied or pinned to the top, which is funny.
